THE STORY OF DOUGH MAMMA
Humble Beginnings
August 31st 2021
Travelling to the Netherlands, Eoin learned his craft from a pizzaiolo who himself learned in Florence Italy. Being in the north of Italy, they like their pizza a little differently to the pizza of Naples where most people think of when they think of Italian Pizza. Eoin loved the freshness of the dough and crispy pizza produced. He knew it was a winner.

Eoin travelled all over selling the Dough Mamma goodness and even teamed up with Amazon Prime to give all their drivers pizzas for breakfast! It went down a treat! This was only one of numerous places he ended up with the van, the trailer, and of course... Millie.

Eoin always listens to his customers so Dough Mamma can provide them with what they want... not what he thinks they should want... The menu was expanded... and yes the controversial pineapple was added!!

Creating and developing the Dough Mamma brand is something Eoin really focuses on and is proud of. A catchy name and recognisable logo really grabs the attention of customers. Wrapping the van was a milestone for Eoin in this regard.

The Listowel Food Fair really helped expose Dough Mamma and with the help of all the organisers it really helped the restaurant get of the ground that little bit more.

Inviting over 40 people into the restaurant for the food fair just showed me how far Dough Mamma had come from the humble beginnings at farmers markets.

Here we are... coming into xmas 2022... What a year and a half it has been... I wouldn't be here without all the help I got from all the people around me and am so appreciative of that. Thank you for your time... and more especially your patience!
